This series tracks three decades of the awesome musical journey of A.R. Rahman. During this period Mr. Rahman single handedly transformed the very syntax of film music in India, took it around the globe, and won hearts worldwide.
Our agenda here is to explore and expound the nuances of Mr. Rahman’s compositions, and how his approach gives each of his tracks its distinctive flavor. In the process, the series will feature many stalwarts of Indian & World Music and Cinema.
